I don't merge or delete in my main database precisely because I want to keep

So the range of RINs export feature becomes more important.

as not aware that you would lose Sourcewriter sources in exporting to
Gedcom.
That would be a very strong argument for not using Sourcewriter.

To manage your subscription and
-mail, and that just creates digital clutter.
GEDCOMs I classify separately as Gedcoms, with the name of the person I
received them from and the date of the Gedcom in the Master Source. In the
detail section I put the name of the person and their ID number in the
Gedcom..

once suggested that there should be a special biography field for that
purpose, but the Legacy people who participate in this forum said that one
should use the regular notes for that purpose, and soi I do, and put
everything else that is not time-specific in the Research Notes.

How do I export a range of RINs to a GEDCOM file?
For example, RIN 2712 to 2835?

ing Legacy 5, and allow Legacy 8 to
convert it. If you make changes in Legacy 8 and decide to go back to 5, you
will need to export the Legacy 8 file to a Gedcom file, and import it back in
Legacy 5 to preserve the changes you make to the file.

So is there a version 9?
I haven't seen any announcement here, other than what I have inferred from
discussion of the sex of spouses.
What's it like? What else does it do that Version 8 doesn't do?
Does it need more memory etc to run?
