If I could bump into this discussion. I never noticed Legacy Family
Tree in my Documents folder but there isn't much in it:

Thanks for this explanation and also to CE for letting me know that with
7.5 you don't have to store your media in the Legacy image folder. Now I
think of it my problem with disappearing images in the program tree were
probably because in tidying up folders I had moved them to another place

Linking is not a problem with Legacy 7.5. I still use Legacy 7.5, and

Thanks. That does seem something that I could benefit from as I spend a
lot of time on as currently I have my media in a folder on my desktop
and another one in Legacy which the tree program links to. So are you
saying it would get used to linking to the folder on my desktop?
Thanks Martha. I will delete those relating to Legacy 8 but do you know
what purpose the others have or why some are empty?

Hello,
Legacy 7.5 had / has different settings and file locations.
The files in your doc folder can be deleted if you
ur ancestors.
Run the descendant report from that file.

This is what I want to do:
I want to do a descendant report from one of my

This is very handy. I had not used the internet option for descendant
reports. But when I tried to make a web page of my descendants and put
10 generations I only get the first person and his children. I did one

I wanted descendants of him and now have it.

Hello all
I have just joined this group and hope that someone can help me. I
haven't used my Legacy for some time. I purchased the De Luxe version
7.4 (from my disc) but maybe I updated from there but I can't get into
the program to check as explained next.
I went in today and tried to open a
of users who will not be interested but I am
hoping that some people have done this recently enough to remember any fixes
and might be able to help.

Others on the list will probably have worthwhile suggestions, especially if
they have had experience with Generations
