I have separate family files that I wish to combine, but still keep the original files. These pertain to grandparents who were both Millers. The new file would be called Miller/Miller, but I would still have the originals named Daniel Miller and Mary Miller. Can someone advise me how to

One caution.  Don't use the / character in your filename.  That can cause problems with the operating system.  There are a few other characters that should not be used.  See this Microsoft article. Error Message: Filename is Invalid or Cannot Contain Any of the Following Characters Error

Ron, please don't send screen shots to the group. This was sent to my spam folder because of it. Plus they can harbor viruses or other malware and cause problems for people who are still on dial-up, trying to view the emails on a mobile device or paying by the byte for their messages.
