indicator.
Recently for some unknown reason all of the living people in my database
are set to deceased (no death information is entered for them)

By chance was your file from a gedcom import? There was a known problem with
Legacy changing living people to deceased when importing gedcoms. That has
been fixed and the fix is scheduled for the next update. The fix will not
change your living people back to living. If you did get

That is exactly what happened. I moved my file to a new computer a
couple weeks ago via gedcom. Thank you for offering to fix my file, however
I was able to go back to old file and transfer it as a legacy file instead
of gedcom. All well. Glad a fix is on the way.
