Legacy 8.0.0.427HelpHelp IndexSearchUTF-8 finds it under both import and
export GEDCOM. I haven't tested it lately to see if it actually works but it
is documented in these help files.

I switch to a Danish keyboard for about six characters, and back to English.
Just a quick mouse click to switch between keyboards after set up.
Note, doing this on Windows 7, not sure when this feature was first available.

In order to insert Czech characters, you need to follow the instructions on
the Czech website for a registry hack and some other changes.
Only problem is you need to be able to read Czech to find the instructions!

I've read the original query in a little more detail...
Unless the character you want is already in the basic, European character set
that
need isn't supported.
