Linda, No there isn't a way to do them except one at a time. You might like to send in a suggestion on this. The easiest way to set them is to make a search list for your direct ancestors (tag the direct ancestors only on an unused tag and then go to the Name List and click Search - Show all

If you are using 7.5 or 8 you need to go to the Options Customise Data Entry and check the box Ancester/Descendant Interest - Show on info Screen. Save and then when you edit a person you will see two number entry boxes slightly right of centre near the bottom of the screen. David On
