I found that the existing Notes that had Tabs embedded still give the

So after doing a test by adding a Tab in both General and Research notes

I then went back to one of the people with Tabs
I agree with Kenneth on the DNA data. Legacy can links to many Internet

can be searched; databases such as Relative Genetics, etc.

Hi, Jack
Were you testing in the new update of V6 - 26 September 2005,
Version 6.0.0.66?
Does this mean, I can now safely upgrade from V5 to V6 without losing
Tabs, or having them converted to spaces?
Thanks,
Mary Young

So, although the problem is fixed, the message does seem to remain
until you save the data again.
At least I feel safe in doing a save now

Thanks a million! What a great help site! Each of you gave me
essentially the same answer and it worked--I'm back in business! Whew,
what a relief. Like everything else on a computer, it's easy once you

It may be a firewall issue, but mine has not shown me that an update was
available either of the last two times and I use PC-cillin. I have a cable
modem and am using Windows XP.

Any thoughts???

Still looks useful though.

One major difference I have found between Gensmarts and the Research
