Hi Charles,
Can you please be a bit more specific so that it is possible to reproduce
your result - which type of web page are you using? Which sub folder are you
referring to - in the pedigree pages for eg the line is included in the main
folder and not in a sub folder. Is it a Legacy
Hi Steven,
You can attach a picture to any event. Just make sure you include
event pictures in your reports. You will want to use Medium if the
pics attached include groups - even then they may be too small in pdf
reports but making them larger makes all individual pics larger as well.
Gary posted April 16, 2006 about Promedia vs Passage Express. By April 21 I
had not seen a response to his posting. I inquired of Gary did anyone reply
to his posting. If someone has used Promedia or Passage Express that are
advertised in the Legacy Store I would be very interested in having

Hi Kay, when Mills came out with her QuickSheet, I found that the way I had

Gail,
I started out sourcing pretty much as you describe, but somewhere along the

it all again. It would be best if I made up my mind and stuck to it. It

G'day Ron,
Thanks for your response.

I see what Tom is seeing. The report language is defaulting to English -

How do we select English (Australia)?

I have a cousin who has PAF 231. I would like to load her data for our

PAF directly. Just what do I need from her? A PAF backup? A copy of
her family files?
Thanks from a newbie,

Kay, don't feel bad about changing your mind about source formatting. I
changed mine several times before landing where I am. The key is to try out
these changes as your database grows (so you have enough examples to base an
opinion), but before it gets too big. Legacy's event and citation
Fran,
You will need the PAF file. If I remember that far back, the extension will
be .DAT or something of that sort. These files should import just fine into
Legacy.

Hi Ann, I would treat sourcing this item the way you might treat any other
family memorabilia such as a war ration coupon book or an antique chest.
In this case, I would not worry so much about format and focus instead on
describing the item in great detail. If it were something produced by

Charles,
From the symptoms you describe I think the organization of the webpics
folders and files is incorrect for some reason. If the graphic is not
shown for the current line it is likely because the folder path shown is
not pointing to the right place.

Yes, I can verify this and it also applies to the title window. The text
just flows past the edge of the screen and you have to highlight and scroll
right in order to see it. Good catch!

The latest article on the Legacy homepage about U.S. World War II Draft
Registration Cards now online has a problem. The image for the search to
perform does not appear whether I view this from within Legacy or at the
Legacy webpage.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I just noticed that too. I've now fixed the image. Please check it out now.
You might have to Refresh the page (right-click on page and click refresh).

Thanks Geoff,
Great, now I have even more work to do. But everyone should be aware that
this database is not yet complete. For example, it only has 75 entries for
Tennessee - none for my surname. But I found lots of names in VA and WV.

Thank you for the response. I was very surprised that the German

eleven children's spouses, and their children, to Johann Georg
