Monty, the blank book is one of the fill-in-the-blanks genealogy record
books. I treated it like you would a Family Bible by giving the date of the

Thanks, Mary. All my sources are definitely not by the rules. The census
events are sources method I invented myself; got into a big argument about
that here a couple of year ago, which I will not repeat. In several places I
have event and source information inside General Notes; that's what
Monty, the blank book is one of the fill-in-the-blanks genealogy record
books. I treated it like you would a Family Bible by giving the date of the
original book. If the book were dated 1964 rather than 1915, then I would
know it wasn't my grandmother's work. There's an interesting story about
