I have also had this problem. For me it is not predictable or reproducable. What I do is monitor the CPU utilization. When it pegs on 100 percent, I know I need to stop the process and restart it. When I do, it restarts where it left off. It is a little annoying, and it would be great if it

I would think you could tag all people with surnames H-Z (I think this is what you mean) - using Surname Master List and Show List. However, unlike the location list, you can only do one entry at a time - so it would be quicker to do a search Individual - Surname - starts with - H etc Then go

The .igi file could be moved to another location so you don't lose what has been done and that doesn't contain a zero. Then you can start over. I would think this would work. Someone with more knowledge in the workings of Legacy can say for sure but this is what I would try. Star
