As long as you have Legacy installed on both computers and share the Legacy
files, you should have no problem accessing the file on the computer where

landed in the Master Location List. FTM uses a PLAC tag when exporting
Facts. That tag is reserved for Locations and any field that has that tag
will automatically be imported to a location!

was so slow and added that printing thing that I had no use for. Legacy pdf

married, although if he or she is in a relationship and you're indicating
that relationship (as in living together, etc), in order for them to show as

Did you import a gedcom from Generatons? This is the behaviour we see with
FreeForm sources in a Generations gedcom and there's no way we can work
around that with the Legacy import.
In order to get the text for all sources to print, go to Options
Customize Sources and select the option

You should just do a backup of the Family File and then burn that backup
over to the CD. That way, you'll have all the necessary associated files in
one neat bundle with the main Family File. The backup file has the
extension of .zip.

Adobe Reader v7 can only be run in Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
Unfortunately, the ocx files that are needed to fix the problem with that
ended up breaking earlier versions of Adobe Reader in earlier versions of

Delete all .USR files in the Legacy folder on your hard drive. This will
delete any preexisting user settings. The files will be recreated
automatically when you re-install Legacy and you'll need to redo your
settings. Next uninstall Legacy, restart your computer and then re-install
Actually, this feature isn't quite ready for prime-time! You'll find that
it's still buggy so don't expect too much from it.
