Just wondering if there's a way to force a dynamic to be the length of
the note it is attached to, but not to go over the (bar-)line if a
break occurs at that point.

Is it possible to write different composer name for pieces inside one lilipond files? I've tried it, but Lilipond takes only the first composer and writes it on top of all the pieces.

just to get this richt: an alt chord is a real chord designation and not
just some altered tones. An alt chord has 1, b2, #2, 3, b5, b6, b7
and makes for some interesting sounds, both harmonically (no 5, just
b5 and #5) and melodically (I especially like having b3
