Formatting DASD for SLES 10

2009-03-02 Thread Kittendorf, Craig X.
Hi, When SUSE 7 was installed here, the dasd was formatted with a z/OS VTOC. I'm assuming this is done under z/OS prior to install SLES. What are the parameters to use? Thanks, Craig -- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff /

Hi, I just started back at a shop with SuSE 7.2 installed in an LPAR on a z10 and no experienced sysadmin. The root password was changed and no one knows what it is. We do not have VM, another Linux LPAR, or the installation materials. Is there a way to resolve this? Thanks, Craig
