I went back and pulled down new set of ISO files and tried again.
By chance do you have both sets of .iso files on the same system? It would
be interesting to diff each pair of CDs. It's possible the first set is
corrupted, but I have yet to see a corrupted byte from a completed FTP. If
control over the installation.
I will update the list if the bypass of slpd allows me to bring up the
system.

What type of OSA card is it (OSA express Fast Ethernet)? Is the OSA
defined as type OSD or type OSE? If it is type OSD which is more common
for recent OSA cards, did you try using option 3?

and I did not find a resolution.
I took the script that Mike MacIsaac wrote and modified it to use the -e
parameter as noted in the e-mail thread. I have included my version of the
mkinstallroot script as well as the order
When doing a network install of SLES9 the YaST install hangs at the install
boot manager step. The installation stops at 62% 'Creating initrd...', any
ideas?
