Grand Evening,
SLES 11-SP4 looks grand from a s390x and x86_64 point of view, and having KDE
support will keep us here for some time. SLES 12 does not support KDE and
Gnome has not won over a lot of friends yet from our point of view. As others
have said, by SLES 12-SPn one would have a

It's a known issue. I expect your node name is 8 chars long. There is a fix,
sorry I'm in the wilds at the moment. As a work-a-round us a 7 byte or less

Grand Day,
Could you let us know the SR number when you have it please. There are at least
two other sites reporting issues similar to what you are seeing. I have a
ticket open with SUSE support and I'm told there is a duplicate ticket.
What would be grand to know if someone has updated /
Grand Monday Morning,
We have run a few SLES12 SP2 new installs without issues. Migrating / Updating
SP1 machines are giving us issues, I'd like to run it past your eyes to see if
you see where our issue lies.
We have tried Update / migration using a new SP2 iso image and using zypper

Many Thanks Berthold, looking to be a grand New Year with a new repo for the
s390x platform. I'll have to find a home for Tumbleweed in the next days. I'm
downloading the x86_64 version of 20161226 at the moment to have a look around
at what is on offer. But what I'm sure will be a hit, KDE

Good Morning,
I have SR 101040685023 with SUSE, open against issues with /dev not there
after, in my case, an update/migration from SP-1... but I understand from
support it can occur under other circumstance. Seem you have found one of the
circumstances...
It's not just /dev/root this is
just like to say the SUSE SLES12 SP-3 Beta is running very well, and KVM
is looking very good on the s390x.

Many Thanks for the heads-up. We have the issue, we see it on /tmp and the log
file.
I switched /tmp to "ext" and I was going to create a SR today, but no need
now... Hope a non-temporary patch is available very soon...
Thanks Again
