I have reviewed my last week's quick shot patch and here is a new version.
The firmware I mentioned in the first patch is not needed, since it is
stored on the device itself.
I also got the black TT remote working with it. I had to set rc_interval
to 500, because the key repeats came in too

Just for comparison... Tuning with the TT S2-3200 works for DVB-S and
DVB-S2 channels. The picture quality great, no distortion

400e and the TT connect S-2400 working on the same machine.
I attached a patch which should apply cleanly against current HG.

Technotrend TT connect S-2400 working.
The attached patch should apply against current HG repository.
However, the S-2400 will not be working unless an earlier patch is reverted:
