Hi,
The attached pctv452e.c works for me without frame drops in DVB-S and DVB-S2.

Thanks for that hint!
You're welcome.
BTW: do you receive broken streams (symbol rate 22000 or 27500)?
Currently I get a loss of about 1 TS packet
).
And there is exactly one TS packet missing (I diffed a TS hexdump).
If it were the USB controller that drops packets it would be a loss of 5
consecutive TS packets. (940 bytes iso frame size)
Thanks for testing,

Hi all,
I searched a way to make the remote of the gigabyte u7000 working.
Looking at /var/log/messages when pressing the remote keys give me that
list, but I don't know how to get farther :
/* Key codes for the Gigbyte U7000 , look a little bit funny
compared to the previous ones */
Thanks to Olivier,
I was trying to get it working but I did a mistake putting the cards in
the generic section. Putting it in stk section did it :-)
I got it to work. I attached the hg diff.
Using dvb-apps from hg gives me a Unable to query frontend status.
For scanning, I'm using gentoo ebuild

at this point I'm not sure if it's because I'm using an amd64 system (perhaps
non friendly 64bit code somewhere) or if the channel I'm trying to tune to is
wrong in channels.conf
I'm also using 64-bit kernel and system, there shouldn't be issues due to this.

Quite clear results... ;)
According to Dominik, DVB-S2 doesn't work (yet) with his driver. So the
above result
work.

I linked all files in linux/ to a stock kernel and called

There are only two function pointer in dvb_frontend_ops which handle LNB power.
The new options would require at least one more.
The most flexible way would be a generic set_lnb_power_feature function.
Don't know whether someone needs this but you'll never know:-)
