2. No data received

Yep, wget works, but from a browser it doesn't work (at least not all the
way). Maybe browsers are more picky ?

Well, I guess that could make sense - your browser (I am not familiar with
iceweasel) somehow acts more like wget, which also works. Seems like a
combination of something about the site, and something about the browser
