Thanks for the various replies - seem to be several ways to do this, anyhow it appears to be set, though as I did a urpmi --update --auto-select last night, there aren't any updates yet. So right now I'm doing an urpmi --update kernel Should I also do urpmi kernel-source ? Really the

Thanks for the replies, in the interim I figured out urpmi from Chad's recent posting and got 136MB of updates (overnight, dialup), though I'd still like to get Mandrake Update configured. In Software Media Manager, there is update_source and updates and I think I should be able to point

I am using Mandrake Update gui tool. On selecting one of the mirrors from the list, I get There was a problem adding medium. medium update_source already exists. Next message says the list of updates is empty. This means there is no available update for the packages installed on
