Hello all
I find out of print the Michel Cardin's Weiss CDs.
Please, do you know some site where still have units?
Thanks in advance.
Best wishes,

Speaking of lute songs, does anyone know where to find a renaissance version
of What if a day with tab accompaniment?
You can use version in Poulton's Dowland book to make an accompaniment. It's
also in Valerius as Merck toch hoe Sterck, I'll send you the version I made
for a workshop once.

I have many recordings of lute songs, but I don't recall
hearing the shades you mention (next time I'll hear them more carefully).
..
We have to be carefull with recordings because anything is possible in
terms
of blending (just to remember classical guitar and orquestra!), but live

Hello Everybody,
Does anyone happen to have Dowland's Fine Knacks for Ladies in Fronimo Tab? I
need to accompany a countertenor and the original Key in F is to high for him.
If I can get a fronimo tab of it I could easily automatically transpose it a
tone or two lower.
Thanks,
Daniel.
There is a solo version in Poulton's lute tutor -- number 12 to be
precise. There also is one in Valerius Nederlandtsche Gedenck-Clank, page
248. The previous page has Dutch lyrics (Merck toch hoe sterck). None of
this may be really what you are looking for ...

Lute can be simply accompanyment, but it can also be collaborator.
Because the human voice is considered the most perfect instrument,
I prefer the lute!

It's more MacKillop than Corbetta, but you might get something out of it.
Not sure about doing it on the lute, though!

Hi Folks -
This is a technical question for people who use my
tablature program TAB Would you be interested in
accessing the source via SVN? If you don't know
what SVN is, then that answer is no, so you don't
need to tell me anything.

Yes, that's the reference. I couldn't call to mind the second stanza at

Well done! Then, I'll blame the dry weather for the loose bar and old age
for the scarred top. My guitar is 20 years old by now.

Wayne,
Occasionally, and only when you tell how to and where, do I introduce
small variations of your code. SVN (actually I only use CVS --has that
become Early Software yet?-- on occasion) for me would be a sledgehammer
to crack an incipient peanut.
Peter.

David,
Grove says: Allison's 'Dolorosa' pavan belongs to the same world of
Elizabethan melancholy as Dowland's Lachrimae with which it shares melodic
features.
And I did not now about this? Where nights black bird hir sad infamy
