Hi netters
I wonder if anyone has used clamp on wheels for dragging theorboes around
campuses etc.
LIke with luggage, though you could remove them. I looked briefly at a site
that sold something called E-Z wheels; Any experience with those?
Thanks,

Hi
I’m interested in getting back on the lute list. How do I do that. Don’t think
I resigned. Particularly interested in putting rt hand pinky down or not
placing baroque lute. I find it tension producing.

Terrible news and a surprise to me. I knew Stephen and had just spoken to him
at the seminar. He was always very helpful and kind.

Hi John
I have found the same problem. My pinky and ring finger wish to act as a unit.
I finally gave up thumb under on R lute because of this and use a very light
touch with pinky on B lute.
And often lift lt to get to 12 and 13 courses.I notice some very good layers
often do the same. I’d be
Great I thought. Very lute-like, and I’ve heard all the others.

On t he other hand, if you looks at how Bob Barto holds the lute it’s quite

gravity method won’t work with your thumb off the lute, but you can practice

Hi B lutenists
On a different question.
Do you know where I might acquire any Baroque lute duet sheet music? I have
some duets but just for B lute and flute.
Thanks

Heard via the late great Pat OBrien Paul O’Dette couldn’t bend that finger down
by itself. Though I think Pat said in my case the fault was in my head, not in
the stars.

Any thoughts on whether it’s OK not to rest rt. hand pinky on Baroque lute
soundboard. It’s always been a strain for me, and I don’t think everyone does
it.
I have a 13 course instrument.
Related question. What about putting a little block in front of the pinky side
of the bridge to rest
Hi all
A few years ago Bob Barto gave out some scales for baroque lute. I used them
religiously, and now seemed to have misplaced them.
Reconstructing them would be instructive, but I wonder if anybody has them for
copying.
Thanks much
