Re: flatpak
The package has permission to access documents and all work should be done in that directory. Access permissions can be changed as needed by the user with commands or with flatseal. Additionally, because I was not given permission to access the /tpm directory (maybe I am not explaining it well), the temporary files must be stored in a documents directory so that they can be accessible, the directory must have been created ( documents/.tpmlyx). It is necessary to view the PDFs, lyx must be configured to store its temporary files in a document directory. Flatpaks in general can make requests to open files but if they are in the sanbox they cannot be viewed. In my case, when I click on View, a window opens where it allows me to select any installed PDF viewer. The tests I have done are based on running the files in help. I will review the concerns raised. Re: flatpak
Hello, I think the package is quite advanced. Of the features mentioned, I need to incorporate docbook, the problem is that the sources produce errors when compiling them, patches must be applied. I have added via plugins to lilypond and sweave/knitr, it seems like the best to me. As for sweave/knitr, I really don't know if it is necessary to install additional R packages, it surely is. If that is the case I suppose it should be necessary to install a compiler. Reviewers mentioned that the appdata.xml file was incomplete, so I used a different one. Although you may not be able to use a generic one due to the customization of the information that must be provided regarding the contents of the package. Since my use of lyx is not very advanced, I had not worried about that. You are right, regarding the characteristics you mention, I think that their incorporation should not present any problems, it will only slightly inflate the package that is currently 30M for my system without obviously having the environment with texlive. I was considering flatpacking some time ago. The problem with LyX is that its extremely dependent on many other external utilities to work well.
