I am using lyx to write almost all my works, but I have a very big
disappointment yesterday when we wanted to prepare the final manuscript
for a conference. (IEEETran class)
First problem, I needed to submit the paper without page numbers. I
choose en layout-document page style empty.

Second problem, all the figures and tables appeared at the bottom with
an annoying label figure or table and I didn't find a way to remove them.
The caption disappears if you press delete or switch the environment (to

i wrote my diploma with lyx and now i must burn the PDF-file it on a cd to
print it out on a Windows-System. I tried to burn it, but on Windows i can`t
open it. Adobe acrobat Reader always says there`s a mistake.
I burned it under Linux with CD-Roast and burned once only the pdf-file, but

I will answer Jan's problems via PM. Its a bit _very_ off topic ;)
And I won't blame with my pidgin english :o)

Edit your /home/user/.lyx/preferences file and add the following line at the beginning
of the LANGUAGE SUPPORT SECTION :
\bind F12 language arabic
To mix english and arabic in the same sentence, you have just to switch from a
language to an other using F12 key.
