It seems that the problem vanishes and re-appears while I am expanding the manuscript. So I am not bothering any more but use the following simple work- around: I have added Icon buffer-export latex in the user interface file. This gives me a button to export latex into my working directory

passing doc dir to converter script?

Hi all, I'm using the following shell script as part of the latex->dvi LyX converter and I want to use a relative path to the needed "index-list" file (located in same dir as LyX document). Is there a way that LyX can pass its current document path to this script? -Kevin (Thanks in advance!)

Dear LyX team, there are font-emph, font-bold etc. functions, but no font-slant function. Therefore one cannot bind the operation of making a word "slanted" to a key or a toolbar button. I tried to look at the LyX source to see how to add such a function but quickly got confused. It seems that

ok - i cleared the preamble and tracking changes works. however, i observe strange behavior: 1) i generated a new document, entered some text, enabled tracking changes, and addied some more text and deleted some. this shows nicely in lyx. hoever, in dvi it shows in black & white only. in
