Hi, I'm using Beta 3 on Vista. So far, I have tried little things with it. One problem is that no default viewers for PDF are defined. Even more, you can't get to see a preview in pdf (pdflatex, ps2pdf), only DVI, PS or HTML. On screen rendering seems fine, except one weird time when an inline

I am using LyX 1.5 (beta3) on Windows XP. When compiling the DVI of a paper with some integrals, I received an error because of the lack of the esint.sty. Then, I have installed the package but in the DVI the integral is substituted by a capital delta (\Delta). Any suggestion? Thanks

Hi, With the first release of lyx on Windows I build a home-cooked fully contained lyx + miktex distribution in a single zip-file. Moving from a desktop to laptop was as easy as extracting this zip-file. Why can't it be that easy with the new Lyx bundle at http://wiki.lyx.org/Windows/Windows ?
