Large reports - consider moving from Libre/OOo/Word to LYX

Hi, every year I am completing final reports for our institute. It is complex document with figures, citations, footnotes etc. often with more than 300 pages. So the LibreOffice used for editing is a little bit slow and I do not think the limiting factor is the PC and I also do not think switching
