Hello everybody,
I have written my diploma thesis using Lyx. Everything worked fine and it was
fun working with this program. But now I've got a problem with the text in
the list of figures.
My figures in the document do include the name of the figure and the source.

Dear All,
I have the following problem:
The last item (one line) in LOF is on another page by itself and I need to
squeeze it into the previous page with rest of the items in the list. Any
idea how I can do that?
Thanks,
R

try on the page where the last item should be:
\enlargesthispage*{2ex}
play a bit with the size 2ex.

1-In the list of figures I get no space between the section number:
10.11Funnel construction of Myrmeleon
10.1214-day flight activity in bees
10.13Monthly rhythms of the Palolo worm
Especially 10.12 is ugly. Any cure?

How can I specify a shorter description to appear in the table of figures
list, if the caption in the caption environment is too long to be useful?
I think this can be done easily in latex, but can't see any documentation
as to how it can be done in lyx.
thanks
