1-Insert-float-figure
2- Inside the float, do Insert-Graphics and select your file
If this does not work you may have a problem with the conversion from EPS to
PDF (not sure of this)

I'm experiencing weird behaviour of aspell after updating from LyX 1.4.4
to 1.5.1 (Intel Mac).
aspell starts working but points out all kinds of words it should surely
know, like das, ein, an or Kaffee in Swiss German.
I checked my aspell installation and made sure that the path is
