Does anybody know how to include graphics from XFIG into lyx-documents? The
figure should contain symbols like $\omega$, which should then be rendered by
TeX. Therefor I can't use EPS (which does work, by the way).
The lyx user guide recommends to export the figure as LaTeX-Postscript

I have a problem with getting LyX compiled. I´m currently working
with SuSE Linux 6.0 and when I try to follow the installtion guide
the config-script says that it can´t find a working compiler. This
is strange because I have (naturally) the gcc installed!!!
Is this a known behaviour
I have a need to include common parts in two documents. Those parts
have headings and unfortunately the documentation standard I have to
follow has different heading levels for the common parts. F.ex:
