dvips and /tmp

Is there a way to have dvips use a directory other than /tmp for temporary files? I am using lyx 1.2.3 and tetex 1.0.6. I have a memory-based /tmp file system and it is too small to for dvips to generate a presentation I am working on. -- Bruce Momjian| http

, when output in ascii, the title is not centered. I know with LyX, I can output latex, and use latex2html for conversion to html. I actually now use latex2html, then use lynx -dump to convert to pretty good looking ASCII. It would be nice if lyx could dump nice ascii and html directly. -- Bruce

Why does TeX style use ~ for space?

Bitmapped fonts on EPS incusion in 1.2.1

I used to use lyx 1.6 and was able to include EPS files that would render as full spline fonts in the output file. With 1.2.1, I find that the file is outputting the eps file as a rasterized image of the font, and it looks poor. I assume this was done as part of this: - New graphics inset
