Is there a way to have dvips use a directory other than /tmp for
temporary files? I am using lyx 1.2.3 and tetex 1.0.6.
I have a memory-based /tmp file system and it is too small to for dvips
to generate a presentation I am working on.

to html. I actually now use latex2html, then use lynx -dump to convert
to pretty good looking ASCII.

I used to use lyx 1.6 and was able to include EPS files that would
render as full spline fonts in the output file. With 1.2.1, I find that
the file is outputting the eps file as a rasterized image of the font,
and it looks poor.
I assume this was done as part of this:
