gzopen and gzopen64

I just updated my macports. Now some of my applications do not build. The message is that _gzopen64 is not found. Apparently there is a 'new' flag needed to build applications. Any experience, comments, suggestions? Snow Leopard, recent Macbook Pro. Thanks, Ralph Pass

I have upgraded to Macports 1.8.0 on a Leopard system (eventually get to Snow Leopard in the near future). I removed the installed ports and then did a sudo port install cairo. I get the following output. So the question is what is the problem? Thanks, Ralph Pass Start point
