Creating hard drive space by purging data on my hard drive

Hi all, I've deleted lots of junk from my hard drive in order to create space for a Bootcamp partition. This freed up 200 gigs on my drive, but it is still considered purge data. I don't know how to quickly get rid of the purged data. I am not even sure what exactly purged data means. I
