It's a public provincial government server and they're providing a
proprietary REST format, but not open standard WMS or WFS when it's fully
supported by the server software they're using? Yikes.
I've never tried this myself, but if you don't need live data in your
MapGuide server and have
look into the composite symbolization it allow you to place a simple symbol
be it vector or image on a line at intervals or distance from start and end,
someone else may need to confirm this but you should be able to get a
similar output as the OSM example.

That's the thing, the problem is both on MGOS2.2 and AIMS2012. perhaps the
issue belongs in the FDO forum then. It seems that the ORG provider does not
close files (perhaps to be able to access them quickly again), and that the
ORG provider then have some build in maximum or Windows has some
What about disabling connection pooling for the OGR provider?
Or what about splitting up the directory of TAB files into separate

How do I disable connection pooling for the OGR provider?
The mapinfo files are already in a lot of different directories.
I made a small FDO test application. This is what the application do:
Loop trough all directories and files
for each *.TAB file
TRY
Open the file using FDO
I want to know what's the best method to do a petition to a MApguide server
and get an image and make a report in a web: no framework, no navigation,...
just an image.
Thanks.

Just to make sure that I understand your question.
You need a single call to the MapGuide server that produces an image, like
you can do with the Google Static MAP api?

Right - it's still in beta, so maybe they'll add some other

I've had success in getting these layers to show up in Quantum GIS,

Hello,
I have a strange problem with Maestro 4.0.0 MGOS 2.2: I created a new ODBC
feature source and then edited the schema. After that I take a look at the
configuration document config.xml:
SchemaMapping provider is OSGeo.ODBC.3.2, while it should be 3.5.
When doing the exact same thing with
