Which distribution to go with, is I believe, a matter of personal taste. I have worked with two personally, Slackware and Red Hat. The version of Slackware I had was a bit older, but overall I like Red Hat better. Red Hat 5.0 comes with many of the kernel modules already created and

OK, here's my question: For this application - a router box with IP MASQ capabilities, which distribution should I start with. I hope I'm not boring everyone on the list with this, But... the intro to TrinityOS goes over this in good detail. Give it a look!

We all have projects we're working on at one time or another. I've wanted to get involved in Linux for a long time. Indeed, I've purchased several Linux distributions over the years, all of which remain on the bookshelf uninstalled, because I've never had a business reason to install them
