Hi All,
It appears I have a problem with the multi-language install for Office 2010.
a) I have copied the Office language pack files to the root of the Office
install folder.
b) I have also put Office 2010 SP2 in the updates folder. Below are the
settings in MDT 2012 for the
The other option is to send them back and buy some tablets that do support

Most tablets are UEFI (typically x86's as well unless fancier HW) which
Windows 7 x86 can't load on, so that's the real reason, x86 UEFI came with
Win8. It’s what you can call an immovable object. :)
Todd, check the HW manufacturer of the screen and see if there is a generic
driver.

That sounds like a good request on connect. Know if one is open?

Subject: Re: [MDT-OSD] RE: Problem with App role
There are plenty of bugs reported for apps in a task sequence. There have been
fixes for that in every single release of ConfigMgr, including CU1, CU2, CU3
plus a hotfix for Apps in task sequences after CU3… I’m still not convinced
they have fixed all issues…
I have talked/emailed/chatted with

I am using apps in MDT roles, does the hash mismatch still apply?
We have a lot of apps. I cringe at the thought of having to turn them into
packages, and having to explain to staff members that the supposedly better way

Could be an issue with a mismatched app version number.
If you have ever updated or modified an app package CM will modify the apps
revision number. But then the revision number in the task sequence no
longer matches the applications revision number and the TS process is not
intelligent enough
We are running SCCM 2012 R2 CU1, on Server 2012 and SQL 2012, with MDT 2013
integrated. We use roles with SCCM2012 apps in them that are attached to PC's.
From time to time, the install apps sequence will fail, and when you look at
the SMSTS log it will state App policy for 'APP_NAME_HERE'
