With the help of John Kashuba from California who also bought a piece of this meteorite, it appears that my nice Diogenite is more like a LL4 or maybe even LL5. That would explain the metal, and lack of apparent chondrules on the weathered surface. But the crust so, so nice. :) I'm so good
