Worth of read, no doubt, William Cassidy was the founder
of ANSMET and led US meteorite recovery expeditions in
the Antartica for 15 years. Also a lot of information of lunar
ones and other meteorites, even if you are not interrested in
antarctic ones. Also a great book to read as an adventure -

I thought that some people might be interested in a
cute photo of 3 meteorites that I got come today. They
are likely all paired and after chopping them in two

The first meteorite in the photo is of particular
interest because the lighter side (The side toward the

Dear Listees
Truckee, California, is not exactly a desert but where I am (about 6 miles east
of town on a bluff) at 6,000', the skies are remarkably clear. Last night, it
was easy to spot NEAT just 30 min past sunset. By darkness and with an
inredibly clear western horizon, it was an easy naked

This is really wild!. I was in the Florida Keys from
the 15th tru the 22 of April with 5 others. and on Friday night, around
9 or 10:00 (or later?) in the evening
(the 21st) we (4 of us out of six) saw 3 meteors in a row, traveling
from the east to the west. Long
streaming tails, but
I don't usually jump to post the eBay wrongs to the list but this auction
got me a chuckle. Some in the US may remember the Happy Fun Ball skit on
Saturday Night Live, a child's ball with more warnings than all the
pharmaceuticals on TV right now.
So, if you're bored, something to read and sorry
