Hi Edwin and all,
Port Orford. I don't know if you have read any of my posts related to
the Port Orford Meteorite. While I admit that it could be a hoax, I have
quite a few problems with the research on the Port Orford and don't
agree with much of what was said. Believe me when I say I am
Hi Al and Edwin, etc.

Martin,
For an extra thousand dollars, rocks in Arizona could
crawl to Oregon! Maybe this is the beginning of a
migration!

Mike all,
That did look like a winner, but too bad about the
crumby documentation. The seller didn't seem very
interested in providing anything but platitudes. The
caliche crusts were right for eastern Oregon.
Cheers,
Norm

Hi all,
I gotta agree with Mike, that's no Canyon Diablo. I
think it looks more like Henbury or Gibeon. I'd never
seen Gibeon with caliche till this year when I (once
again) bought a few Gibeon individuals. I was
surprised to find one with spotty caliche just like
the oregon piece.
