We only have 1 major telco in Australia, and due to high bandwidth costs is the only reason. mirror.aarnet has been like that for at least 5 years that I know of so its not like its just recently they have decided this policy. Check our www.aarnet.edu.au for more info if you want to know the

Hi Andrew, The issue was that one of the mirror list members pointed out that I was still running httpd 1.3.22 which has some security issues. I must have been in the midst of upgrading when you tested. Anyway, I have upgraded to 1.3.26 and the link is live now - seriously :) Cheers,
