Working again as expected with todays snap. For posterity the logs
provided were from a t430s not an x230.

next upgrade was april 9th snapshot, nfsd usage for more than a minute
or so will bring down the system reproducibly.
tried again with a bit ago (april 12th) snapshot, still crashing

with the old atapiscsi.c gives the same timeout
errors in dmesg and does not render the drive operable. If anyone has
