I also thought the shipping prices were very high, and I'm in the US,
in So CA.
As another example, I saw that one WC, which weighs but a few ounces
at most, had a quote of 16.85 to mail (expedited) within the US.
Unless something is 13 oz or more, it can be shipped USPS First
class;
right on Sue.
We just had to raise our shipping rates AGAIN due to the latest USPS
increase. And don't forget that if you sell on eBay and if you charge for
shipping eBay takes a percentage of that too, which is ludicrous if you
think about it but they get away with it.

Shipping is not as cut and dried as one might think. And it’s more expensive
than most people think. And shipping expensive posters overseas is expensive,
especially
with insurance.

The $7.85 USPS 2 Day Priority is an online price. It costs more if you
actually go into the post office. Also, you have to factor in the cost of the
box, tube and/or packing materials, any insurance if there is value, and
