Other birds of interest were at 320th St, were some Shorebirds on a good-sized
mud flat.
Birds observed there were Dunlin, Baird's Least, Pectoral and White-rumped
Sandpipers and a couple Greater Yellowlegs with the Killdeer.

15 of the Lake. The bird was observed at 9:45 am. We observed the bird for

Bird Walk Summary
Despite the 20 degree start to our walk, we enjoyed a number of spring migrants
this morning at the Bass Ponds. There were Fox Sparrows, both Kinglets and
Hermit Thrushes on the hill going down to the ponds. A

again on the 20th.
When it reopens, I encourage everyone to head down and check out the new board
walk. I have yet to have time to check it out, but the comments I've heard on
it sound good.

While leading a Minnesota Birding Weekend field trip to Yellow Medicine and Lac
Qui Parle counties our group observed lots of migrating waterfowl, a few
Shorebirds and two Snowy Egrets. There were few locations for Shorebirds, with
Salt Lake having the best shoreline for them.

treated to one of the better flights of Geese that I have ever encountered in
