Be sure to put the Flash drive in a USB 2.0 port. I think there's one in the
back, or use a docking station.

We recently installed a new SCCM 2012 site and ran into an odd problem. When
we set up the site backup in maintenance we simply chose a local drive letter

Hi Sean,
I'm upgrading to 1602 this week and will test it out. I really can't see using

We already have a 4.10.209 client update from 10/25/16 in SCCM. Now we have
clients trying to update again but just sit there "downloading". This is

For some reason none of my W10 1607 clients are seeing KB4010250 as required
via SCCM. Running Windows Update manually does install this patch. W10 1511
clients are deploying their version of KB4010250 via SCCM; it's just the 1607

Remember that you will end up with a Windows.old folder and that has averaged
around 20 GB on our office PCs.

I'd verify if you have the deployment download settings checked to access
updates from Microsoft if not available on the DP. That can send your clients
over there.

The problem we've seen is matching the PC's USB port with the right drive.
Older PCs with USB 2.0 ports often won't boot to the USB 3.0 drive, so we've
had to keep a few USB 2.0 drives around until those machines are finally
replaced. Newer PCs will use either USBs with no issues other than
We see that KB915597 from 10/13 hanging around, too, with a newer KB2267602. I

Carl,
I'd contact my Microsoft TAM to help get the tickets consolidated under one
