I would like to use the snmpd agent for
the only purpose (for now) to sent traps to a Network Manager but in an HA (High
Availability) environment.
I would like to know if the snmpd
agent has some built-in HA capabilities i.e. having two snmpd running on two
different nodes one
The output formatting options that I specify on the command line do not
appear to override the options found in my ~/.snmp/snmp.conf
file. Assuming this is the expected behavior, is it really what's
intended? I would think that the command line options should have
the last say.
