structure for this?
Do you know of any projects that have a renderer that would display them?
Thanks in advance.

in things such as OSMAND cycle routing and the cycle maps the renderer has to
be able to understand the tags.

isn't the most user friendly interface for nontechnical users, I'm not quite

Do you (or anyone else on the list) have any experience with uMap? Comments?
Yes. It's good. If you want to share

I've already solved my issue but I'm wondering what the best practice is for
this sort of thing.

Hi All,
I've got a separated way on a highway bridge. It's not marked specifically as a
cycleway but it is connected to a cycleway. It's essentially a wide sidewalk.
So which would be the best way to tag it, as highway=cycleway + foot=yes or
highway=foot + bicycle=yes?

Bill

Hi Bill
I agree with Xan about the 'not officially cycleway'.
Thanks for coming and asking.
Be careful the proper tag is:
highway=footway
From the wiki:
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:highway
Using JOSM, you use the drawing tools to more or less follow your traces, then
apply tags. The trace is a layer underneath your new way data.
