I've a question.
Is it possible to fill a table or a document in ConTeXt with content
from a XML file?
Where do I find documentation about this? I didn't find something in

Unfortunately, the \StartLong macro is not meant only for producing
line-wise content. In the general case, it contains something else than
just \starttyping block.
Please try this:

What are the options for conversion from ConTeXt to other formats,
if any? I'm particularly interested in rtf and/or html.
I saw there is a module tex4ht usable for converting conTeXt to html.

There I don't find something which helps me.
The input must not be only XML. In can also be CVS or something
else...
thx

I have a few lines that I need to push towards the right
maring. The lines should all have their natural width, and
be all left-aligned to the left of the block, but the block
itself should be right aligned. Like the following

XML is a very good master format from which to derive all outputs. For
example, I receive wordprocessor files from academics and convert them
to XML by a combination of automated processes and hand-tagging. The XML

Salvete,
while I am aware that my Japanese is ages away from creating anything
releasable, I thought about creating a lang-jap.tex file for my personal

Hi Christopher,
This was the right way. Thanks a lot!
Still, I don't understand how the \starttyping macro gets to work if ^^M
is redefined as ^^J.
I will tell Patrick to update the module on the garden. Meanwhile, you
can get the updated version on my site:

Is it possible to simply enclose the file in a

Well, if you're using a regime, it still (usually) depends on symbolic
character names being defined under the hood. Also, such an approach

TeX, LaTeX or conTeXt is in input langage, which should be able to

No, sorry. This only works for extremely simple TeX

Hans Hagen:
did you ever try
texexec --mode=demo s-pre-61
using 'layers' is rather robust (no duplicate pages and such);
Of course, I did. The only issue is about JavaScript, which does not
work in most non-Acrobat PDF readers. This is the purpose of the
