Hello,
just a brief question -
- is there a way how to obtain the current file name; to be possible to write
e.g.
C1.tex
\startcomponent \thisfilename % Instead of \startcomponent C1
and
P1.tex
\startproduct \thisfilename % Instead of \startproduct P1
so that

I guess that was never baked in. Probably because quotations are not
really numbered objects, and so not obvious candidates for having
their own labels.

Thanks for your answer and your patience.
Hi Willi,
I used vim/gvim in the past and switched to emacs. I write all my stuff
with ConTeXt and with some tweaking of the commands you can also make
mkiv run inside of emacs. also nice is to write your metapost and use
the metapost mode for it that can generate a preview inside emacs for
you.

How large the article is supposed to be (e.g. in words of the text; and/or in
pages, i.e. including images/screenshots)?
What is the deadline for

Normally I use Smultron for most of my coding, including ConTeXt.
But it’s the old, free version, not the new AppStore-version (I heard
that sucks), since I’m still on OSX 10.5.8.
In some projects where I use ConTeXt just as a backend or report
generator, I edit my ConTeXt files in Eclipse/Aptana
Hi John,
What Wolfgang said: `\product X` should be processed once inside
`\startproject` environments, and never otherwise. And you should
probably have products as your build targets, not projects.
@Hans: when I looked at the `processors` table in file-job.lua, I
found some discrepancies

@Roger: I just realised I called you Robert. Sorry about that, moment
of inattention.
Hi Hans,
Actually, this is something that should be doable with user data weren't it
that for floats that's not yet available. So I've added it to the core (will
be in next upload) ...

After all, TeX+Emacs = texmacs could be *the* editor for context , if only

What about crowdfunding a better context mode for emacs?
