Hi,
is it possible to change the pagelayout for one page only? Something
like \thispagestyle{empty} in LaTeX?
Best,
Denis

I am using the given command below to change numbering format, but I
get numbers instead of roman numerals. Looks like conversion option
has no effect.
\setuppagenumbering
[location=right,
alternative=doublesided,
conversion=Romannumerals,
style=bold]

Hello all,
Why does conversion option for \setuppagenumbering has no effect? Is
it only for me or for others too?

Hi,
Strange, but \setuppagenumbering[location=none] moves page numbers to
the bottom of the page. I guess this is invalid command altoghether, but
nevertheless, it does something unexpected :)

Page numbering in roman style is not working for me. What could the problem be?
I get the numbers in the footer, but it prints in Arabic numbers (1,2,3 ...).
This is the command I use:
\setuppagenumbering[conversion=romannumerals]
thank you

Hi,
How can I stop \setuppagenumbering[alternative=doublesided] from
forcing chapters to start on the right? I don't want any blank pages.
Thanks,
Elliot

Hi Elliot,
\setuphead
[chapter]
[page=yes
I'd like to reset the page number with each chapter and prepend the
chapter number to the page number. Something like
Chapter One
Foo 1-1
Bar 1-2
Chapter Two
Baz 2-1
Qux 2-3
Now here's where it gets complicated: I also need to generate an index
using this same numbering.
\setuppagenumbering[way=bychapter] According to the new
syntax given in TeXshow it is now \setuppagenumbering[way=bycd:chapter]
Unortunately this results in the following message:
! Missing \endcsname inserted.
to be read again
\@@bybycd:chapter
argument ...stringelse .\csname
\setuppagenumbering[way=bychapter] According to the new
syntax given in TeXshow it is now \setuppagenumbering[way=bycd:chapter]
Am I missing something?
It is a bug in the new TeXshow, but of course you figured that out
already ;-)
