Greetings,
In globals-core.h, there is a small problem with the redefinition
of free to be ntop_safefree. Specifically, the prototype of
ntop_safefree expects to have a void** pointer and the define
casts it to a single void*. This poses no problem in straight C,
but if you're doing anything
Hi Stuart,
the new list server is listgateway (the old one was listmanager), as
specified in http://www.ntop.org/needHelp.html and in the bottom of this
mail.
Can you please tell me where you've found the old address, so that I can
update the page?
Thanks, Luca

Loris,
ntop is developed on Solaris 8/i386 so I can guarantee you it works
there. Just follow the instructions and it will build.

I missed the fact you're still running 2.0
Grab 2.0.99 from http://snapshot.ntop.org/
IIRC, 2.0.1 may have the -j parameter in it, but the stuff still isn't quite
right.

If you look at the mailman faq, I believe you'll find the
answer.
Well that's a fine kettle of fish, one tiny little fact to leave off...
Without an IP address on the interface, how is ntop able to determine the
local addresses?
Now it does work (I've run that way for months), but the local/remote
determination may not be what you want.
The only way to tell

I have downloaded and compiled libpcap as well as ntop.
Install location is on my local sun box Solaris 8 in the following path:
/usr/lfs/v1/apps/usr/local/bin
I have my PATH variable to include the above location.
I get the following when I try to run the routine:
sudo
I just compiled ntop 2.0.0 on RedHat 7.2 I run it with the option -P I found
that it Segmentation

Is anyone else having the same prob?
