I'm looking for a home storage product like a NAS or similar that I can
backup my various computers' files but also access them remotely if needed
to work on them remotely. Something like Office 356 shared files would be
nice with a local storage component.
I have Mozy but it seems only geared
One of my clients uses Network Solutions as DNS provider and web site host.
NetSol took the site off-line recently - without any warning - due to some
vulnerability (which was not stated by NetSol).
We got it fixed. But the way NetSol handled it was bad without attempting
to contact anyone
I have a customer who has repeated - what appears to be - cable modem
disconnects. But, when this occurs, I can access the vendor's cable modem
remotely, but nothing beyond it. The modem is connected to a Cisco RV082,
then two a few netgear switches. This is a small office, maybe 10 staff.

We use a workstation/server/infrastructure inventorying product and that
works well., But I would like to have a product that I should assign or
associate certain resources to users or groups. This would be computers,
printers, and items that we'd manually add like licenses, smart boards,

I'm looking for a tool, hopefully web-based, where I can access multiple AD
domains (separate domains, not in a trust or anything like that) so we can
do simple account creation, groups modification, and password resets and
account unlocks. Anyone know of anything like that?
Thanks
At my company, we manage multiple domains. These are different customers
and have no relationship to each other. Does anyone have any suggestions
for a tool that would allow technicians to view (ADUC for example) several
domains at once? The goal is to save support time by not having to
Hi All,
We have Office 365 E3 subscriptions for our users. I would like to role
out OneDrive as a replacement for the traditional "home" folder, That's
easy enough, but what does that mean for Terminal Server profiles? I do
not want full copies of user's OneDrive folders on terminal server
Unrelated to the log, I've seen memory and slowness issues on DCs when
there is an issue with DNS. Make sure that's correct and no issues.

Anyone using the SonicWall firewall filtering? We have it here, not
presently enabled, and pay for it but are using the Barracuda. (This was
in place before I started). Small business, not sure the value of
Barracuda since we get something similar in the SonicWall units.

Hi All,
What would you recommend as specific software solutions to protect against
Ransomware? In my company we use:
- Sonicwall firewalls, and the gateway security component is enabled and
is supposed to help block/prevent.
- Symantec AV. Not specific to ransom-ware but appears to be
Hi All,
We have a large break/meeting area, about 25 x 30 feet, in which we are
looking to add TVs or projectors. I have had some quotes from AV companies
and they seem pretty high for what we need: occasional display for
internal presentations, connecting to a standard laptop, connecting to
I have a few staff in a remote office in Florida who spend most of their
day working in RDS at our main site in Virginia. We have decent bandwidth
at both locations and decent firewalls, no issues there. The Florida
staff complain of latency/laggy experience in RDS. I am wondering if these

I've need to do so in a while. We have E3 Business Premium licenses.
I was expecting to be able to open a case via a new ticket sort of dialog
box, and I can answer various prompts if the issue is billing, Exchange,
Hi All,
My shop is mostly HP laptops/desktops/notebooks for end users, ProBook
units mostly.
I have had to contact support recently several times due to hardware
failure. Whether I call or use the chat feature, hold times are very long,
Usually at least 20 minutes. I've been on hold for 40
Hi All,
I have a question regarding Oracle DBA database level access.
The DBA lead where I work states that it is nonsensical for individual DBAs
to use a name DBA-admin account for them. This is a potential issue: we
are dealing with highly sensitive data and even within the DBA staff
group,
